There will be a Morning Service at our chapel at 11 am on Sunday 20th October.  Do come along.  You are very welcome to join us.  Tim Eldon, our Community Worker, will be taking the service.  The theme from the Autumn Series for this service will be taken from 1 Kings 18, Elijah on Mt Carmel.                                                                                                                                                                                    We have started a series entitled "Standing for God in a hostile culture"  It is increasingly difficult to hold Christian standards in today's society and we need to learn how to stand against the flow when what God desires for his creation is being disregarded or brushed aside.  There were many such times in the Biblical record and we will be using the experiences of Elijah and Elisha to see if we can draw lessons to help us in our present day.  Tea/coffee will be served after the service.
This week, on Tuesday evening, at 7.30 pm, you are welcome to join the bilingual Prayer and Bible Study Group in Bethel Vestry in the Square.
And why not come along to Crafter's Corner at our church on Friday afternoons 2 - 4 pm.  Knit something, sew something, make something.  Bring whatever you like to make or mend, but do join us.  You will enjoy the chat because it is not about Brexit!  There will be tea, coffee and cake ...... and why not?                                     Sorry!  There is no Crafters' Corner this week, 18th October, because the Community Lunch, organised by the churches of the village, will be held on that day at the Neuadd Dyfi.

Welcome to Aberdovey, a special place, on the west coast of Wales.

Our picturesque village lies on the northern bank of the estuary, as the River Dyfi flows into Cardigan Bay.
The beautiful sandy beach and the sheltered dunes stretch for miles towards Tywyn.

Aberdovey is situated in Snowdonia National Park, reknowned for its majestic mountain scenery.  You can enjoy the walking and cycling in the foothills or climbing of Cader Idris, a short distance away.

Many visitors are drawn to the peace and tranquillity of the area.  We enjoy meeting fellow christians and would appreciate your fellowship. Our church is easy to find on the seafront, opposite the Literary Institute.
